The ambitious growth goal for the (Leading Software Company) was to improve their services by improving their site’s performance, functionality, stability moreover sales as this was the main revenue generating site of the company. In order to accomplish this, DevOps team recommended to migrate the whole site along with its huge stack data from IBM cloud to Azure cloud.

The Challenge:
It was a great challenge to restructure the main revenue generating e-commerce site because the site was getting crash due to heavy traffic of customers and one of the key reason was that the backup was also maintaining on that prod server. Keeping in mind to make the site that must be cost optimized as well.
The Solution:
Created the server on Azure along with required compatible software’s.
Migrated the backup code from IBM server to Azure server, dumped the database separately and and exported the database to destination Azure server through azure services.
The Result:
As a result of this migration, the site became faster with zero percent down time.
Capable of managing the heavy traffic of customers as it’s an E-commerce site.
